2011 NEWS

The Dandenong Band took to the streets of Mount Gambier early on Saturday morning (19th November) for the adjudicated Street March performing Colonel Bogey to an enthusiastic crowd of onlookers. If that didnt wake the local residents then the massed bands march to follow (playing McAnnallys Waltzing Matilda) surely would have!

Following the success of its recent "Come Meet the Band" concert, Dandenong Band are pleased to announce their second concert for the latter half of 2011 - Gold Class Brass.

Dandenong Band has taken an "important step forward" by performing to a very high standard at the recent National Championships in Adelaide says Musical Director Michael Mathers.

At a recent committee meeting, the City of Greater Dandenong Band has decided to wind back the clock and once again begin using one of its previous logos as the official logo of the band.
