Catherine, a registered nurse at Maroondah Hospital, joined Dandenong in 2004 playing the tenor horn. She began her musical career at age 7 playing piano and went on to complete 6th grade piano, 6th grade theory, 5th grade French horn and 3rd grade voice (classical). For some time she was involved heavily at Ringwood Secondary College in the choir, concert band and jazz band. Nowadays she doesnt have much time for anything besides work and band and is arguably one of the busiest members of the band in her role as band secretary.
